We are looking for an experienced Mid or Senior Developer to join our team in building a modern API for an eCommerce platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services using Symfony and PHP, with a strong focus on modular service architecture and seamless API integration. The solution must be scalable and capable of handling high traffic.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop RESTful APIs services

• Design services following the principles of bounded contexts

• Develop high-level solutions using hexagonal architecture within a modular-monolith structure

• Create and maintain API documentation

• Quality check (Code Review)

• Optimize applications for performance and scalability

• Cooperation with the QA, Frontend, UI&UX teams

• Taking care of application security, from design to implementation

• Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality

• You have 4+ years of experience in web development

• You have proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs

• You can optimize services for performance and scalability

• You possess a strong understanding of business needs and technical solutions

• You have knowledge of databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)

• You have experience with message queues (e.g., AMQP, SQS)

• You’re adept at implementing and using cache systems

• You know PHP and the Symfony framework thoroughly

• You’re skilled in PHPUnit

• You can create clear, effective documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI

• You have practical experience with Docker and containerization

• You’re comfortable with static analysis tools for code quality

• You apply architectural principles like SOLID, KISS, DRY, and other best practices

• You have a solid understanding of Unix systems

• Good command of English (B2+) and Polish

You have 4+ years of experience in web development
