Job Description - SEO / GEO / AEO Specialist

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies
Perform keyword research and search intent analysis
Conduct technical SEO audits
Optimize website architecture
Improve Core Web Vitals and site performance
On -page optimization
Internal linking strategy
Schema markup implementation
Competitor analysis
Backlink strategy and outreach
SEO reporting and analytics
Monitor rankings and organic traffic growth

2. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
Optimize content for AI -powered search engines including:
ChatGPT
Google AI Overviews
Gemini
Perplexity
Claude
Copilot
Responsibilities include:
Creating AI -friendly content
Optimizing entities and semantic relevance
Building topical authority
Structuring content for AI retrieval
Improving citation opportunities
Optimizing knowledge graphs
Entity -based SEO
Content clustering
AI search visibility monitoring
Testing prompts to evaluate brand discoverability

3. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Optimize content so AI assistants can directly answer user questions.
Responsibilities include:
Creating FAQ content
Optimizing featured snippets
Structuring pages for answer engines
Implementing schema markup
Building question -and -answer content
Improving zero -click search visibility
Optimizing for People Also Ask
Increasing chances of being cited by AI systems

4. Content Strategy
Plan SEO content calendars
Develop topic clusters
Perform content gap analysis
Refresh outdated content
Create pillar pages
Improve topical authority
Coordinate with writers and designers
Ensure content follows EEAT best practices

5. Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and report on:
Organic traffic
Keyword rankings
AI visibility
AI citations
Featured snippets
AI Overview appearances
Conversion rates
Engagement metrics
Technical SEO health
Provide monthly reports with actionable recommendations.

Requirement
3+ years of SEO experience (5+ preferred)
Demonstrated experience with GEO and AEO strategies
Experience optimizing for AI search platforms
Strong understanding of semantic search and search intent
Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills
Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
Experience using leading SEO and AI optimization tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ecommerce SEO
Experience with B2B and SaaS websites
Knowledge of structured data and schema implementation
Understanding of Knowledge Graph optimization
Familiarity with Python, SQL, or automation tools is a plus
Experience with AI -assisted content workflows

Work Arrangement

Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
Work Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 12mn or 1:00 am start (depending on the daylight savings schedule, must follow 9am Pacific Standard Time start), 9 -Hour Workday, including 1 -hour lunch, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break, per working day
