What You'll Do

• Entity & Topical Mapping: Build entity maps for each client vertical; define core services, related subtopics, brand terms, and local modifiers.

• Topical Authority: Create and maintain topical maps connecting services, locations, and supporting content into a cohesive internal linking framework.

• Schema & Structured Data: Implement JSON-LD markup for LocalBusiness, Service, Product, and WebSite; expand into custom graphs for FAQs, HowTo, Reviews, and other rich results.

• Google Business Profile: Manage categories, services, products, Q&A, posts, and reviews to maximize local pack visibility.

• Content Systems: Write or refine SEO briefs with entities and FAQs; coordinate content production for service pages, hubs, and location pages.

• On-Page SEO: Optimize meta tags, headers, alt text, and internal anchors with a semantic-first approach.

• Competitive Analysis: Audit SERPs and competitors for AI Overviews presence, featured snippets, and local map pack patterns.

• Tracking & Reporting: Use GA4, GSC, and Looker Studio to monitor results; tie reporting back to rankings, visibility, and lead generation.

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience ranking local service businesses in Google.

• Hands-on knowledge of semantic SEO and entity-based optimization.

• Ability to design and execute topical authority frameworks.

• Strong skills in schema implementation and troubleshooting.

• Experience managing Google Business Profiles at a deep level.

• Familiarity with SEO toolsets: Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, Ahrefs/Semrush, GSC, GA4.

• Clear communicator who can turn complex SEO ideas into simple actions.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to log file analysis and crawl diagnostics.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows for research, clustering, and briefs.

• Experience coordinating with writers and developers.
