Service Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Erling Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment throughout your region. We are looking for a driven individual to maximize our efficiency while on site while also maintaining safety standards.

WHO WE ARE

Our focus is on equipping, building, repairing, and maintaining retail facilities for operators of convenience stores and related types of business. Our core expertise is with fuel systems however we are expanding our offerings to provide a broad range of equipment, installation, repairs, and maintenance of the mechanical systems in these facilities. Our market is roughly the eastern half of Texas. We have delivered double-digit annual revenue growth for over fifteen years and expect that to continue going forward. We are privately held.

A PREVIEW OF YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Perform repairs and troubleshooting


• Maintain equipment on customer sites


• Represent Erling by keeping a clean uniform and vehicle


• Performing all duties within safety standards

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• A strong work ethic


• The ability to work well independently


• The ability to work on a professional level with customers and coworkers


• Functional computer skills


• An aptitude for mechanical and electrical related work


• The ability to perform physical labor daily in various weather conditions


• Travel with multiple overnights involved with in the State of Texas (Company Paid)


• We provide a company service vehicle, uniform, telephone. Some instruments are provided as appropriate based on work assignments. Technicians must provide the basic tools required of the position.


• Experience with petroleum dispensers and equipment (Wayne, Gilbarco, Veeder Root, and Verifone) are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, Trade School Certification is a plus.


• 5+ years experience within the petroleum industry.


• Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment
