Job Purpose

The SDLC Methodology Lead will define, optimize, and govern software development lifecycle practices across the enterprise. This role focuses on creating process playbooks, improving operational workflows, and ensuring teams follow best-in-class delivery methodologies to drive efficiency, compliance, and quality throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• SDLC Process Design & Oversight
• Establish, enhance, and maintain standardized SDLC frameworks (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).
• Ensure development processes align with compliance and organizational standards.
• Documentation & Governance
• Produce and update project delivery documentation, including methodology guidelines, templates, and operational artifacts.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits to verify adherence to SDLC best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with project management, engineering, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery across all SDLC phases.
• Serve as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor quality checkpoints throughout the lifecycle and enforce delivery controls.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
• Training & Enablement
• Train delivery teams on methodology guidance and new process rollouts.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SDLC methodology and tooling.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years leading SDLC governance and process implementation in large-scale environments.
• Proven success designing and authoring enterprise SDLC methodologies and playbooks.
• Strong exposure to Agile, DevOps, and secure software delivery practices.
• Technical understanding of programming fundamentals and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and delivery tools (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps, JIRA).
• Skilled in creating professional process documentation using PowerPoint or similar tools.
• Knowledge of QA, testing workflows, risk and defect management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams.
