In the role of Solution Engineer / Sourcing Analyst at Archlet, you will deepen your expertise in our advanced sourcing solutions and use your analytical skills to help customers maximize their use of Archlet for conducting effective and efficient RFPs. You will assist current customers with complex RFPs, impart best practices, enhance their overall value, and identify opportunities for expanding. This position offers substantial autonomy, enabling you to take charge of your tasks and innovate your methodologies.
You will also work closely with teams in Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering, providing valuable insights that contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of Archlet.
Consult Clients: Provide guidance to our U.S. clients on managing complex RFPs in Archlet across both direct and indirect categories.
Support U.S. Time Zone: Offer timely assistance to users (both suppliers and buyers) during U.S. business hours by responding to technical inquiries through our support email or intercom chat.
Advise on Bid Sheets: Craft detailed bid sheets in Excel to enhance the utilization of Archlet, ensuring accurate and efficient collection of essential supplier information in the proper format.
Customized Demos: Configure and tailor demonstrations in Archlet, guaranteeing that data is organized accurately for optimal presentation and analysis.
Drive Success: Actively promote the success and value of significant RFPs, developing and sharing successful use-cases internally to encourage broader adoption.
Product Communication: Detect and relay any product shortcomings to the product team and work collaboratively with the engineering team to devise optimal solutions.
Build Relationships: Forge strong connections with key users (champions) by demonstrating your expertise in procurement and product knowledge, thereby gaining their trust and loyalty.
Educational Background: Preferably holds a degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 2 years in Procurement consulting or in a B2B SaaS environment as a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, Analyst, or similar role, with a strong eagerness to deepen procurement knowledge.
Excel Skills: Proficient in advanced Excel techniques with a meticulous attention to detail, especially when managing sensitive data.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrates robust problem-solving skills, coupled with outstanding communication abilities and a quantitative approach.
Cross-Functional Experience: Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Sales, and Product departments.
Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Work Conditions: Capable of working in the US time-zone and in a fully remote setting.
Mindset: Possesses a strong sense of ownership and a proactive, can-do attitude.
