REMOTE Sr Quality/Molding Engineer - Fast Hire

• Bachelors in Engineering & 4+ years of exp

• Experience in Injection Molding on multi-cavity molds and insert molding

• Familiarity with PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ

• Background in Plastic Medical Components

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Engineering & 4+ years of exp

• Proficiency in Injection Molding on multi-cavity molds and insert molding

• Knowledge of PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ processes

• Experience with Plastic Medical Components

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to set up robust injection molding processes

• Coordination of supplier qualification activities (PPAP, IQ, OQ, PQ, DOE, etc)

• Proficient in generating qualification requirements and reports for injection molded components

• Understanding of limits/fits, tolerance stack-up analysis, and Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing (GDT)

• Utilization of Statistical Tools (Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis/Gage R&R, Process Capability, and Statistical Process Control)

• Leadership of cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Sourcing, and Supply Chain

• Development and maintenance of strong working relationships with functional groups

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up robust injection molding processes

• Partner and coordinate supplier qualification activities

• Generate qualification requirements and reports for injection molded components

• Ensure understanding of limits/fits, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GDT

• Utilize Statistical Tools for process improvement

• Lead cross-functional teams through qualification processes

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with functional groups

• Mentor team members

Pay: 55-60

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
