Staff Accountant - RealPage & AppFolio

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with hands-on experience using RealPage and AppFolio to support day-to-day accounting operations within a property management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly, and year-end accounting tasks using RealPage and AppFolio.
• Manage general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank and operating accounts accurately and on time.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and variance analyses.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including rent posting and vendor payments.
• Assist with month-end close and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant in property management or real estate accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of RealPage and AppFolio accounting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines efficiently.
