Job Details and Description


Two students-at-large are selected by the UASU to represent undergraduate students on the Green and Gold Student Leadership and Professional Development Grant (Green and Gold Grant) Adjudication Committee.



The term for the Green and Gold Grant Adjudication Committee extends to June 2026. 




The responsibilities of the adjudication committee members are:





  • Attend training in late July/early August (date based on everyone's availability)

  • Review and score applications after each deadline. The deadlines are August 1, November 1, February 1, and May 1. This process is done online and takes 15 to 20 hours for each round.

  • Attend adjudication meetings after each deadline, where funding decisions will be made. These meetings will be hosted online. They are 1 to 2 hours in length and are held about 6 weeks after the application deadline.


The term is from July 2025 to June 2026. It is renewable once. The student must be enrolled in an undergraduate program while they serve on the adjudication committee.





The adjudication committee is composed of two faculty members, two student affairs professionals, three undergraduate students, three graduate students, and two alum from across campuses. The goal is to have it be as transdisciplinary as the students who apply for the funding.

Qualifications



  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in at least one course for credit in the Fall and Winter semesters of the 2025/26 academic year.



Application Instructions



  • Applications should include a resume listing past experience and a short writing sample.

  • The short writing sample should answer the question: What interests you in being a part of an award Adjudication Committee? Writing samples should not exceed 250 words.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview with the nomination committee.



Applications will be assessed on a bi-weekly basis. Applications will close on Friday, May 30th at 11:59 P.M.
