INTECON, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). This role provides systems engineering, digital transformation, cloud modernization, and AI/ML integration support to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The Systems Engineering Lead will design, guide, and oversee complex engineering programs supporting intelligence analysis, system architectures, and next-generation technology integration across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering and architecture definition activities for NASIC programs.
• Guide Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts, system design, test & evaluation, and milestone management.
• Manage and oversee digital transformation initiatives including cloud modernization (hybrid classified IC clouds, HPC, quantum, commodity cloud services).
• Direct development and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Intelligent Automation (IA) for mission analysis.
• Provide systems engineering leadership for threat system modeling, radar systems, sensors, and data management/governance.
• Collaborate across DoD and IC stakeholders to define secure, low-risk, mission-aligned technical solutions.
• Prepare and present technical briefings and program reviews to senior government and IC leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security classification guidance, including system accreditation for IT/Cyber programs.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Top Secret/SCI at time of hire; must be able to maintain TS/SCI eligibility and comply with polygraph if required.
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is preferred, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ additional years of experience may also be acceptable.
• Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD/IC programs.
• Proven experience in cloud transformation, MBSE, and enterprise system integration.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML implementation in mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with DoD 5000 series acquisition lifecycle, R&D, and technical program management.
• Proficiency with engineering tools, MBSE software, and data visualization platforms.
• Strong writing and briefing skills for technical reports and executive-level presentations.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary government and contractor teams.
