Preschool Assistant (Teacher Aide/ Support Staff) – Ascend's Little Miracles Community Program (Antioch)

Ascend’s Little Miracles Program is seeking a Part-Time Teacher Aide/ Support Staff to support our community-based preschool program in Antioch serving children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, language, and communication needs.

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Aide/Support Staff member who enjoys working with children and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role involves helping create a fun, supportive, and engaging classroom while assisting with educational and developmental activities for our kiddos.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs
• Bilingual preferred, but not required
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework preferred

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 0–5
• CPR certification
• At least 6 ECE units preferred, or willingness to enroll after hire
• Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting with classroom clean-up and daily care routines
