You want to help build complex security solutions and draft architectural decisions to ensure reliable, state-of-the-art security products and features? Managing a small team of engineers and collaborating closely with other software engineer teams is already part of your role? Then look no further and apply now – in Bochum or Remote – You decide.As our main backend expert, you will lead a team of skilled software engineers working in a cross-functional, agile development environment. Together with your team, you will build the foundation of our products by spearheading architectural decisions and gradually improving our technologies and standards. Being an important stakeholder in the success of our products, you will collaborate closely with the product owner, QA, and other development teams to deliver on our release objectives.

Several years of software development expertise and proficiency with designing backend services
RDBMS expert with strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL
Strong proficiency in the Python programming language
Extensive experience with relevant frameworks and technologies, such as FastAPI, Pyramid, SQLAlchemy, Celery, and Cerbos
Experience with cloud computing services like AWS or GCP
Experience with people management topics and working in a leading role
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, international teams
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and techniques
Pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
Good communication skills in English

Bochum or Remote.
