Job Description - Team Lead Social Media Content Production (m/f/d)

As Team Lead Social Media Content Production within Westwing’s social media department, you will lead a talented group of five creatives, including two creative producers and three video producers. Your leadership will drive the development of high-quality content for both long- and short-format videos, as well as the website, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. You'll provide strategic direction, oversee workflows, and collaborate closely with other social media teams to bring engaging ideas to life. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.

lead and manage a team of five creatives, guiding them through the content creation process from concept to final delivery
review and approve all content, offering constructive feedback on storyboards and video concepts to align with brand identity and creative vision
collaborate with your team to generate fresh, engaging ideas tailored to our target audience
oversee shoot coordination, scheduling and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution
act as the main point of contact between your team and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout production
participate in weekly business meetings, sharing insights from the creative team and contributing to project direction
keep your team informed about key company updates, ensuring they have the context needed to make strategic decisions

experience in content creation, video production or creative direction, with a passion for storytelling and digital media
strong leadership experience or potential
excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and inspire creativity
highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
hands-on experience or strong interest in shoot coordination, cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder communication
a passion for mentoring and fostering team growth, supporting both individual and collective success
adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset, thriving in dynamic environments
fluency in German and English (additional European languages are a plus)
