They shape how we work every day, our relationships with clients, and the way we collaborate as a team.We are seeking a Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and migration of enterprise applications. You will play a key role in implementing a cloud-native, microservices-based system in Java (Spring) and guiding the transition from a monolithic application built with PL/SQL and Oracle ADF. This is a leadership role requiring deep expertise in software architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise application modernization. You will work closely with Principal Architects, development teams, business stakeholders, and DevOps engineers to ensure a smooth transition and scalable system design.
Architect and Design: Act as an liason between Principal Architects and Developers by leading the detailed design and development of a scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices-based application using Java and Spring Boot.
Monolith to Microservices Migration: Oversee the migration of an existing monolithic application to a cloud-native microservices architecture.
Technology Leadership: Provide technical direction to the development team, ensuring adherence to clean architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and SOLID principles.
Integration & APIs: Oversee and support the implementation RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and database migration strategies.
Performance & Security: Ensure application performance optimization, security best practices, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and establish coding standards and architectural guidelines.
DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and implement best practices in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with expertise in enterprise applications.
Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA.
Proven track record in microservices architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes/Docker.
Good understanding of SQL (Oracle DB and PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience in Oracle ADF, PL/SQL, and database migration strategies.
Expertise in API design (REST), messaging systems (RabbitMQ), and caching (Redis, Memcached).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Valuable Additional Qualifications
Experience in modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
