About the Role:â¯
The Technical Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing, executing, and improving comprehensive testing strategies across Meduit’s Revenue Cycle Management applications, APIs, data platforms, and integrated solutions. This role ensures software applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with customer and business expectations. The Technical Quality Assurance Engineer partners with Software Development, Data Development, Product Management, and Implementation teams to validate end-to-end workflows, identify defects, automate testing processes, and support continuous improvement in software quality.

Compensation: â$85,000 to $115,000â
Key Responsibilities:â¯
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies, plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and legacy applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, end-to-end, and data validation testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using tools and languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent technologies.
- Write complex SQL queries and perform data validation across SQL and NoSQL platforms.
- Validate data flows between applications, APIs, databases, file exchanges, and third-party systems.
- Test REST APIs, web services, and healthcare-related integrations.
- Partner closely with developers and product teams to reproduce defects, validate fixes, and improve overall quality.
- Support performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
- Promote quality engineering best practices, risk-based testing, and continuous process improvement.
- Ensure testing aligns with healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management workflows and customer expectations.
Required Qualifications:â¯
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance or quality engineering role.
- Experience testing database-driven applications and validating backend data.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience testing REST APIs and web services using tools such as Postman, Newman, or similar tools.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex software, database, and integration issues.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferredâ¯Qualifications:â¯
- ââHealthcare, Revenue Cycle Management, patient engagement, billing, collections, or related industry experience.
- âFamiliarity with telephony, SMS/texting APIs, or related integrated communication technologies.
- âExperience supporting performance, scalability, reliability, and release testing activities.
- âStrong passion for automation, scalable quality engineering practices, and continuous process improvement.
- âAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while balancing independent work with cross-functional collaborationâ
