Job Spec

Mosaic is looking for a dynamic underwriter to join our team in the US to focus on US cyber and technology E&O. This is a rare opportunity to take a meaningful role in a market-leading team and further develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite US cyber and cyber/tech open-market business


• Analyze risk, setting pricing, and undertaking policy review


• Negotiate with brokers on new and renewal business


• Assist in helping set the divisional strategy, including engagement in the business-planning process


• Develop business, including identifying new distribution, products and relationships


• Build and manage relationships domestically and internationally, including brokers and cover-holders


• Represent Mosaic in client meetings

Skills, Experience and Education 

• Ideally 10+ years experience in a combination of relevant roles, to include cyber underwriting or broking


• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a prompt and professional manner


• Ability to negotiate with sophisticated advisors and clients


• Ability to be proactive, work independently, and make decisions


• General knowledge of and ability to comprehend cyber and tech insurance products. Act as a representative of Mosaic by attending client meetings, broker engagements and industry events


• Create a sales and marketing plan to identify new business opportunities
