As part of the Global Services team, you will drive transport optimization and re-planning projects for individual plants, working closely with business units and local teams. We analyse transport data, monitor truck utilization, and ensure smooth operations. Our team serves as a key expert on plant transportation networks, supports the rollout of new solutions, and helps supply chain leaders achieve their business goals.

► Lead and execute optimization and replanning projects with single plants
► Be responsible for the business unit and all connected plants
► Act as the main contact for communication and collaboration between business units and plants
► Serve as a subject matter expert on the overall network for a specific plant; share knowledge closely with network design and replanning counterparts (e.g. provide plant-specific requirements for tenders)
► Validate all data with plants, with a focus on future planning and data quality
► Monitor and optimize truck utilization across plants and business units
► Manage the single quote request process in collaboration with the purchasing department
► Handle rejections with a focus on total cost of ownership; manage resolution
► Oversee the escalation process within network design replanning, supply chain coordination, and transportation management
► Plan and conduct regular onsite plant visits (Go to Gemba)
► Several years of experience in Supply Chain Management and/or production, with expertise in physical material flow, material planning, handling, packaging, and transport
► Proven experience working with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies (such as BPS, CIP, TCO)
► Advanced knowledge of transportation, including modes and equipment types
► End-to-end process orientation: able to independently manage the full process from identifying opportunities in the supply chain to evaluating scenarios and driving project industrialization
► Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations
► Ability to structure and manage complex topics clearly and effectively
► Excellent communication and collaboration skills with all network stakeholders
► Fluent in both English and German
► Willingness to travel (approximately 10–20%)
