Job Summary

Looking for a role that gets you out of the office, lets you travel the country, and opens the door to long-term career growth? This is your opportunity to join a fast-growing company in an entry-level position—no prior experience required.

We’re hiring Lighting Auditors: motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are ready to learn, work independently, and explore new places every week.

As a Lighting Auditor, you’ll be on-site at commercial buildings counting, documenting, and surveying lighting fixtures and basic electrical systems. You’ll walk through facilities, identify and record lighting types and conditions, and gather the data our team uses to design energy-efficient upgrades. It’s hands-on, active, and straightforward work that you’ll be trained to do.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Travel the U.S. (90% travel) – Experience new cities every week

  • No experience needed – Paid training provided

  • Career growth opportunities – Clear path to advance within the company

  • Independence & autonomy – Plan your own travel and manage your workflow

  • All major expenses covered during the week + per diem

  • Keep your travel rewards – Flights, hotels, and credit card points are yours

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to job sites nationwide to survey lighting and electrical systems

  • Count and document lighting fixtures and controls in commercial spaces

  • Record accurate data using simple tools and reporting templates

  • Prepare clear audit reports summarizing your findings

  • Coordinate your own travel schedules and manage expenses

  • Communicate with internal teams to keep projects organized and on track

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and flexible schedules

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • No specific degree required—just a solid work ethic and willingness to learn

    • 2 or 4-year degree preferred

What to Expect

  • Weekly travel: typically, Monday–Friday & home on the weekends

  • Visiting multiple sites (3–12 per week)

  • Active, hands-on work (walking, climbing ladders, lifting, etc.)

  • Managing your own travel logistics (company reimbursed on a weekly basis)

Employee Benefits & Perks

  • State of the art office space with free on-site EV charging

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and ancillary plans with generous HSA contributions, plus company-paid disability and basic life insurance

  • Competitive annual profit-based company bonus program for all employees

  • Competitive 401K with matching contributions up to 4% and immediate vesting

  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for all employees

  • Annual on-site flu shot clinic

  • 8 paid holidays

  • 3 weeks PTO + increases with tenure

  • Paid parental leave

  • Generous employee rewards and recognition programs

  • Tuition reimbursement program

  • Quarterly all-company celebrations

  • Opportunities to earn tickets to Vikings games, Wild games, and concerts
