University Mobilizer Coordinator

POSITION:                           GEM US - University Mobilizer Coordinator 

CLASSIFICATION:               Part-time - 25 hours a week (Support Raised) 

REPORTS TO:                      Vice President of Mobilization

DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT:

POSITION SUMMARY: Develop GEM’s Mobilization University Mobilizer program, grow on campus awareness of Ten2, and create a pipeline of extended touches for Ten2 participants while also providing support as needed to then Ten2 Core Team logistics.   

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

EQUIPPING - Developing the Ten2ers 

• Oversee University Mobilizers Program 

• Develop campus mentor cohorts to keep Ten2ers growing post-field 

• Support Uni Mob team leaders & participants 

• Weekly rhythm with supervisor, Mobilization team, US staff 

INVITING - Moving Ten2ers to the field 

• Support training and debrief remobilizing of Ten2ers  

• Assist in any needed Ten2 travel logistics 

• Manage Ten2 University Mobilizer project milestones with cross-team coordination 

ENGAGING - Building great campus awareness & development of the missionary pipeline 

• Generate mobilization leads across the Southeast 

• Develop college & ministry partnerships region-wide 

• Attend mission conferences on campuses as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This job operates hybrid office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.   

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK 

This is a part-time position, days and hours of work flexible. 

TRAVEL 

This position requires up to 15% travel. Some of the travel is international. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in related field preferred.
