The role:

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Counsel to head up the U.S. legal function at eToro. This is a high-impact, strategic role for a legal leader with deep expertise in U.S. financial regulation, securities law, and the evolving crypto and fintech landscape. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, oversee legal risk, and partner closely with global and cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities:

• Advise U.S. leadership and boards on legal and regulatory issues, including securities, broker-dealer, and crypto matters
• Guide product development with a focus on compliance, particularly for social trading and investing features
• Represent eToro in regulatory interactions, audits, and key third-party engagements
• Serve as Secretary to U.S. boards; manage corporate governance and entity maintenance
• Oversee U.S. legal operations, including budgeting and team development
• Draft and negotiate commercial and customer agreements
• Partner with Compliance to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations
• Manage U.S. litigation and coordinate with external counsel as needed
• Support global legal initiatives, filings, and M&A activity
• Monitor legal, policy, and litigation trends that may impact the U.S. business
• Represent eToro at industry events, panels, and conferences

• 10+ years of legal experience, with significant time in fintech, broker-dealer, crypto, or investment services
• Strong knowledge of U.S. securities law, FINRA/SEC/CFTC regulations, and state-level requirements
• Experience advising executive leadership and working in high-growth, regulated environments
• Proven track record of managing legal risk in product development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to manage outside counsel and build an internal legal team

What we offer:

• Salary range for this role is $190,000 - 250,000 annual

Location:
