Video Editor

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Video Editor to help create storytelling-led, visually engaging content across multiple platforms in the beauty space. You’ll shape video content from raw footage through final delivery — bringing both creative and technical expertise across a wide variety of assets and projects. The ideal candidate is proficient in video editing and motion graphics software, comfortable in a fast-paced creative environment, and familiar with post-production workflows including media management, syncing, color correction, and audio leveling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video, perform color correction and grading, and create title designs and motion graphics that add excitement, elevation, and modernity to every project
• Assist in the conceptualizing and storyboarding process, translating creative briefs and scripts into compelling videos and motion graphics
• Shape video content across platforms in collaboration with creative lead and art director
• Build rough assemblies and string-outs, maintaining clear timelines and labeling systems
• Keep project files organized and manage storage workflows across shared drives and cloud platforms
• Manage revisions, versioning, and delivery according to specs and client and brand feedback
• Stay up to date on emerging editing tools, platform requirements, and content best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• 2–5 years of hands-on video editing, post-production, and/or motion design experience (internships and freelance work welcome)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; Adobe Photoshop / Creative Suite a plus
• Strong understanding of video codecs, terminology, color grading, visual effects, motion graphics, and post-production workflows
• Strong organizational, project, and file management skills with sharp attention to detail and a critical eye for quality
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and grow from feedback
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends
• Strong creative sensibility with a finger on the pulse of beauty and fashion marketing trends.
