We are seeking a highly talented, fast, and creative Video Editor who is both technically skilled and an exceptional visual storyteller. In this role, you will bring speed, precision, and narrative intuition to craft compelling stories from raw interviews, documentary-style footage, and b-roll.
You will own the post-production workflow for high-quality promotional videos, long-form content, and short-form social cutdowns for schools, camps, non-profits, and commercial businesses. Operating with high efficiency and organization, you will consistently deliver polished, cinematic edits under tight deadlines while aligning with our established brand aesthetics.
1. Narrative Assembly & Full-Cut Editing
Promotional & Documentary Editing: Edit high-quality promotional videos (typically 1–6 minutes) and long-form interviews, building strong narrative structures using documentary-style footage and b-roll.
Social Asset Cutdowns: Transform long-form source material and interview footage into engaging, short-form social media cutdowns optimized for modern platforms.
Assembly & Pacing: Execute audio syncing, assemble rough cuts, refine narrative pacing, and polish final edits to meet high production standards.
2. Visual Finishing, Color & Graphics
Cinematic Color Grading: Apply professional color grading to achieve a clean, cinematic look consistent with our brand portfolio.
NLE Motion Graphics: Add tasteful text treatments, lower thirds, and graphic elements directly within your non-linear editing (NLE) software suite.
Multi-Format Delivery: Export and deliver finalized video assets across multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) based on distribution requirements.
3. Workflow Management & Communication
Media Hygiene: Maintain impeccably organized project files, timelines, assets, and project archives.
Async & Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and promptly via WhatsApp and email, incorporating creative feedback constructively and iterating quickly.
Portfolio Alignment: Study and align all visual outputs with our established company portfolio standards (EZ Productions).
Editing & Storytelling Experience: 2+ years of professional video editing experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating strong narrative instincts, pacing fundamentals, and cinematic visual quality.
NLE Software Proficiency: Deep technical proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro (proficiency across two or more platforms is a strong advantage).
Mandatory Hardware Setup: Must operate on an Apple MacBook (macOS) for project file performance, format compatibility, and asset rendering.
Post-Production Technical Skills: Proven ability to handle color grading, audio syncing, basic visual design, and graphic text treatments.
Communication & Time Management: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, paired with exceptional time management, file organization, and attention to detail under fast-paced deadlines.
Confidentiality & Discretion: Absolute professional discretion; must sign a confidentiality agreement (all raw footage, working edits, and project files remain strictly confidential and cannot be shared publicly).
Turnaround Velocity & Efficiency: Delivering high-quality initial cuts and final exports rapidly within established project timelines.
Narrative & Stylistic Integrity: Producing cinematic, well-paced edits that consistently match the visual standards of our reference portfolio.
Revision Precision: Successfully incorporating creative feedback with minimal review iterations and zero asset organization errors.
