JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, action-biased, and results-driven VP, Digital Advertising Strategy & Innovation to oversee and evolve Contáctica’s entire digital-impact ecosystem —leading and uniting multidisciplinary teams including Digital Strategy & Thought Leadership, Marketing Transformation, CRM, Paid-Media, Monitoring and Analytics, Development, and a close integration with Creative and Content execution.

This role is responsible for ideating, delivering, and continuously evolving our advertising solutions to drive measurable business impact and pioneering client marketing transformations. Serving as the backbone of excellence, transformation and delivery, you will turn business objectives into full-funnel programs, solutions and capabilities that deliver relentless growth and competitive advantage for our clients. You will partner with Martech, Data Intelligence, Creative, and Account Leaders to deliver end-to-end marketing impact for leading industry clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – What You’ll Lead

• Inspire High-Performing, Multicultural Teams: Lead a multidisciplinary squad of strategists, analysts, media specialists, and developers. Coordinate closely with creative, content, technology and accounts teams. Cultivate a remote-first, feedback-driven culture rooted in experimentation, collaboration, ongoing learning, and operation excellence.
  
  


• Drive End-to-End Measurable Client Growth: Translate business objectives into data-driven holistic digital marketing roadmaps and initiatives. Align content, media, technology, and measurement to deliver consistent, measurable impact across the customer journey. Link every dollar invested to ROI dashboards, attribution and clients’ C-suite KPIs.
  
  


• Ignite Continuous Innovation and Marketing Transformation: Pilot and roll out at least two AI- or channel-based innovations each quarter—ranging from predictive pacing, generative content modules, and automated QA to real-time performance optimization. Champion automation to improve speed, consistency, and profitability. Keep Contáctica and its clients ahead of market shifts.
  
  


• Guarantee Operational Excellence: Evolve, standardize and optimize SOPs, QA, automation, and delivery frameworks for flawless execution across teams and clients. Maintain a critical-error rate below 1%, while increasing delivery speeds, and lifting gross margins.
  
  


• Turn Data into Insight and Action: Define KPIs, attribution models, and impact frameworks. Translate insights and attribution models into clear, compelling business cases and narratives for clients and internal stakeholders, connecting marketing efforts directly to revenue and growth. 
  
  


• Design and Evolve Advertising Solutions: Continuously develop, package and refine full-funnel offerings that integrate digital strategy, creative, media, data, monitoring, and development—prioritizing results-driven and AI-powered innovation.
  
  


• Boost and Showcase Contáctica’s Thought Leadership: Publish thought leadership, white papers, and secure keynote slots. Represent the company in forums and panels, and earn visibility through case studies that showcase Contáctica’s AI-era capabilities. Position Contáctica as the regional pioneer in AI‑driven marketing transformation.
  
  


• Grow Revenue & Margin: Partner with Accounts, Operations, and Finance to price, scale, and expand our service footprint while protecting profitability and driving a 15 pp gross margin uplift over baseline.
  
  


• Develop and Orchestrate Future-Ready Teams:  Combine people, gen‑AI, and automation to boost speed & quality, freeing talent to focus on insight, judgment, and innovation. Establish Contáctica’s internal AI Academy and cross-functional Guild to accelerate skill development in automation, AI-enhanced workflows, and next-gen marketing transformation. 
  
  


• Champion Data Ethics & Privacy‑by‑Design: Embed responsible‑AI, first‑party data strategies, and consent frameworks to build trust and unlock sustainable growth.
  
  


• Forge Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with technology platforms, data providers, and creative tools to expand capabilities and accelerate client transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS – What You Bring

• Strategic Leadership: 10+ years leading multidisciplinary advertising, Martech, or digital transformation teams—ideally with P&L ownership. You turn complexity into action and align clients and teams around bold, transformative goals.
  
  


• Consulting Background: 2–4 years in a top-tier consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte Digital, McKinsey Digital, Capgemini Invent) or equivalent strategic environments.
  
  


• AI, Automation & Innovation: Hands-on experience launching generative AI, automation, or martech tools that boost speed, reduce effort, and improve creative or operational output.
  
  


• Modern Advertising Stack: Fluent in GA4, GTM, UTM, CDPs, Conversions API, and AI-enhanced content tools. You stay ahead of emerging trends and build with what’s next in mind.
  
  


• Full-Funnel Mastery: Deep experience across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and DSPs. Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and managing large, multi-market budgets with precision.
  
  


• Data Fluency & Financial Acumen: Skilled at turning insights into action. You define KPIs, interpret dashboards, and connect performance to revenue and margin—balancing creativity with financial rigor.
  
  


• Team Development & Remote Leadership: Experienced leading remote, multicultural teams. You build trust, drive clarity, and develop talent through feedback, learning, and structured enablement.
  
  


• Bilingual Communication & C-Suite Storytelling: Fluent in English and Spanish. You translate data and strategy into compelling narratives that resonate with executives and cross-functional teams alike.
  
  


• Ethical & Privacy-Minded: Up to date on brand-safety, privacy, and AI ethics. You build trust through transparency and design for long-term, responsible growth.
  
  


• Thought Leadership (Preferred): Experience publishing, speaking, or earning recognition in AI, marketing, or innovation. Comfortable representing your company in public forums and shaping industry conversations.

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position offers the flexibility to work mostly remotely, allowing you to connect with our teams and clients from anywhere in North or Latin America. While you can be based anywhere in the Americas, we have a strong preference for candidates located in Puerto Rico or Colombia due to strategic alignment with our core operational regions as well as in person collaboration with the CEO. This setup is designed to foster a dynamic and flexible work environment while maintaining close collaboration with our teams across our major hubs. 

Periodic travel will be required to engage directly with teams and clients, ensuring you have the opportunity to strengthen relationships and foster teamwork. Additionally, regular team get-togethers and strategic off-site meetings are part of our culture to promote synergy, brainstorming, and alignment with our company's vision and goals.
