Job Description - VP, Sales

Job Summary: 


We are seeking a high-impact sales leader who has successfully sold into risk-bearing healthcare organizations (payors, ACOs, IPAs, CINs) and can immediately contribute to growth in this space. Guideway Care delivers measurable, hard-dollar savings to risk-bearing entities. As we expand our business development efforts, this role will play a critical part in scaling that impact across the market.


 


Essential Functions: 



  • Develop and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy focused on value-based care and risk-bearing organizations



  • Lead multiple complex, consultative sales cycles from prospecting through close, including enterprise-level negotiation



  • Bring rigor to pipeline management with accurate forecasting, deal strategy, and clear progression across stages

  • Personally close high-value strategic accounts, remove barriers to close, and tailor solutions for enterprise clients

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to ensure what we sell and what we deliver are tightly connected



  • Build long-term relationships that drive renewals, expansion, and referrals



  • Represent Guideway Care with credibility at industry events, conferences, and executive-level client engagements



  • Leverage modern sales tools and data to drive efficient, targeted prospecting and pipeline growth 



  • Any other duties necessary to drive our values, fulfill our mission, and abide by our company values. 


 


Required Skills/Abilities: 



  • Demonstrated success in healthcare technology, tech-enabled services, or SaaS sales environments 



  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect sales strategy to broader company growth objectives 

  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex, consultative sales environments

  • Deep understanding of ACOs, health systems, and physician networks, with existing relationships across value-based or risk-bearing entities strongly preferred 



  • Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles involving senior healthcare executives and key decision-makers 



  • Strong negotiation skills and executive presence with the ability to communicate value at the C-suite level



  • Experience with healthcare technology, tech-enabled services, or patient engagement solutions preferred  

  • Comfortable using CRM systems, pipeline analytics, and forecasting tools to drive performance



  • Experience shaping go-to-market strategy and adapting quickly in competitive or evolving markets

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 



  • Able to work remotely at home in a private HIPAA compliant workspace 



  • Able to house company equipment needed to perform job 



  • Broadband Internet Access 



  • Internet download speed must be at least 24 mbps and upload speed at least 4 mbps 



  • Immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided  



  •  Physical Demands: 



  • Ability to hear in normal range and wear a headset / earpiece 



  • Good visual acuity to read computer screens, scripts, forms, etc. 



  • May sit 100% of the time when taking calls 



  • Access to the electronic medical record (EMR) system may require the use of your personal mobile device for authentication purposes. 



  • Guideway Care requires all candidates to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and identity verification process, including third-party checks and real-time confirmation, prior to employment to ensure a secure and consistent candidate experience.
