Wordpress Developer

Overview:

Were looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. This role involves building and updating custom WordPress themes, integrating plugins, optimizing site performance, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Success in this role requires more than technical expertise. It requires initiative, ownership, and a team-first mindset. Youll be expected to take full responsibility for your assignments, proactively solve problems, and support your teammates the same way theyll support you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes from Photoshop and/or Figma designs.
• Update and enhance existing WordPress themes and templates
• Ensure adherence to client brand guidelines
• Design and implement responsive front-end experiences
• Create site architecture and manage content structuring
• Integrate and configure plugins to enhance functionality
• Monitor, test, and optimize website performance
• Troubleshoot bugs and content issues across browsers and devices
• Apply UX/UI best practices to deliver intuitive, user-centric solutions

Work closely with:

• Developers to align on coding standards and project structure
• Designers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementatio
• Optimization strategists to support CRO and business goals
• Attend and engage in video calls. Youre expected to take notes, track your responsibilities, and follow through independently.
• Embrace continuous learning and skill development

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience
• Strong proficiency in:

- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

- PHP and WordPress architecture

• Experience using debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools)
• Experience with version control tools (preferably Git)
• Comfortable extracting and implementing designs directly from Figma or Photoshop
• Strong understanding of web performance and responsive design
• English fluency (minimum B2 level)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in your work
