Renault Winery & Resort is searching for a Senior Director of Sales to join our team of industry professionals. As our Senior Director of Sales, you will lead revenue generation strategies for a premier event and vacation destination, overseeing all sales initiatives across wine tastings, corporate events, weddings, and hospitality experiences, driving both group and individual bookings. In this role you will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and hospitality teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences from inquiry through execution. You’ll lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and alignment with brand standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values
  


• Know, understand, and adhere to company-established policies and procedures
  


• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies that drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across assigned properties and business segments
  


• Lead annual sales planning, budgeting, forecasting, and market strategy development in partnership with the Vice President of Sales and executive leadership
  


• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, ensuring achievement of revenue, occupancy, ADR, catering, event, golf, and group sales objectives
  


• Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities to strengthen market positioning and commercial performance
  


• Lead strategic account planning and business development initiatives that support long-term revenue growth and portfolio expansion
  


• Maintain ownership of major national accounts, enterprise partnerships, and high-value customer relationships
  


• Identify, solicit, negotiate, and secure new business opportunities across lodging, corporate meetings, conferences, catering, weddings, social events, golf tournaments, memberships, and related revenue streams
  


• Develop strategic partnerships with corporate clients, industry associations, tourism organizations, meeting planners, golf organizations, and community stakeholders
  


• Drive market share growth through proactive prospecting, relationship management, and competitive selling strategies
  


• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Directors of Sales, Sales Managers, Coordinators, and other commercial team members as assigned
  


• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer service excellence, and continuous improvement
  


• Conduct regular business reviews, coaching sessions, pipeline assessments, and performance evaluations
  

Job Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
  


• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field preferred
  


• Ten + years of progressive hospitality sales leadership experience, with demonstrated success in hotel, resort, golf, country club, conference center, or destination property environments
  


• Five + years in a Director of Sales or comparable senior commercial leadership role, preferably in hospitality
  


• Proven record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales, revenue, occupancy, catering, and event performance goals
  


• Experience developing and mentoring sales leaders and managing high-performing commercial teams
  


• Demonstrated success managing major accounts, enterprise partnerships, and complex sales cycles
  


• Advanced knowledge of hospitality sales, revenue management, business development, market analysis, and commercial strategy
  


• Strong leadership and executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills
