Reno - Flex Operator - Extended Shift

Summary:

The Flexible Operator provides operational support within the warehouse by picking up tasks as needed, assisting the Induction team with missing cases, and carrying out additional requests from the Induction Lead or Supervisor.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.50/hr

Shift Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Pick up tasks as needed. 


• Assist Induction with missing cases. 


• Pull missing cases. 


• Take care of any requests made by Induction Lead or Supervisor. 

Required Key Skills and Qualifications: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to understand and follow 1 to 2 step instructions.


• Experience operating large equipment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Distribution Center: This position operates within a fast‑paced distribution center environment. Work is performed around conveyor systems, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on operational activity. Employees may work in areas with concrete floors, high‑traffic zones, and variable lighting.

Temperatures may fluctuate based on seasonal weather and warehouse ventilation. Work may occur in shipping/receiving dock areas where outdoor conditions can impact airflow and temperature.

The role requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility, including navigating between aisles, racks, and storage locations.

Employees are expected to maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
