Your Role

As a Renovation Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and restoring guest rooms during property renovations. Before construction, you’ll handle tasks such as stripping, clearing, and pre-construction cleaning to ensure spaces are ready for work. After renovations, you’ll perform thorough deep cleaning to return rooms to brand standards, ready for guest arrival. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on teamwork, takes pride in attention to detail, and brings Grit and Integrity to every project. 

What You’ll Do

• Prepare rooms for renovation by stripping furnishings, fixtures, and materials as directed
• Safely move and dispose of debris, materials, and outdated room contents
• Perform pre-construction cleaning, ensuring rooms are ready for contractors
• Conduct post-renovation deep cleaning, including dust removal, sanitization, and detailing of rooms
• Restore and reset rooms to brand standards for guest readiness
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure safe handling of cleaning agents
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during prep and cleaning
• Follow safety guidelines and company protocols at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials and furniture safely
• Organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs

Education & Experience

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or construction clean up experience preferred
• Experience working in hospitality settings a plus
