Renovations Technician

The Renovations Technician is responsible to perform all renovation and demolition tasks for Tandem Living. This includes planning projects, obtaining necessary materials, and performing both general and skilled carpentry work in accordance with Tandem Living standards and all applicable federal, state, and local codes. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Additional training in kitchen and bathroom demolition, as well as flooring installation and removal, is required.

  
  


• A valid PA driver’s license with at least two (2) consecutive years of driving experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• 
  

  Ensures high‑quality carpentry and renovation services are completed efficiently and effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrates working knowledge and skills in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Completes work orders, minor renovation projects, and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintains and repairs doors, door hardware, locks/keys, and windows.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicates clearly and professionally with residents and/or their family members regarding maintenance work.
