Overview

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Rental Coordinator to manage the day-to-day functions of the commercial rental department. This position is crucial for ensuring all rental operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Customer engagement and sales:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all rental inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with rental customers to ensure repeat business.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on products and services to meet their specific rental needs.
- Execute the rental process from inquiry to invoice, including securing all necessary customer information and documentation.

Operational management:
- Manage and track daily rental utilization
- Execute rental contracts and invoices
- Develop and implement efficient billing routines to guarantee the timely and accurate invoicing of rental charges.
- Assist the collections team with past-due invoices as needed.
- Inspect trucks for damage/cleanliness before and after rentals, update inventory and ensure vehicles are ready for service

Safety and environmental standards:
- Ensure the rental office and yard areas are clean and safe for both customers and staff.
- Promote a customer-focused culture that emphasizes safety and cleanliness.

Administrative duties
- Support the overall team environment by helping with Toll Management, Reporting, Data-Entry, Licensing Administration when needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or higher; advanced education or technical certifications in business, sales, or automotive/truck maintenance preferred.

Relevant industry experience preferred in dealership operations, rental/fleet management, or service roles a plus.

Strong customer service, communication, and professionalism

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Valid Driver's License
