Job Description - Rental Agent

Rental Car Agent with Avis and Budget Car Rental at the Rapid City Airport

Rapid City Regional Airport

Full-Time- Must be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends

At Avis and Budget Car Rental we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and a wide selection of rental vehicles to meet our customers' needs. We are seeking a dedicated Rental Car Agent to join our dynamic team and help us deliver a seamless rental experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Customer Service:** Greet customers warmly, handle inquiries, and provide information about rental options, pricing, and policies.

- **Rental Transactions:** Process rental agreements, including vehicle selection, pricing, and payment processing.

- **Problem Resolution:** Address and resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

- **Sales:** Promote additional services and upgrades to enhance customer experience and increase revenue. Commission is based off sales at the counter

- **Administrative Tasks:** Maintain accurate records of rentals, payments, and customer information.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or rental car industry is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Basic computer skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

**Benefits:**

- Competitive hourly wage plus commission. $15.50 per hour base pay. Commission is based off sales. Agents average around 45-50k plus per year

- Paid time off and holiday pay. Holiday pay is double pay if you are scheduled
