Rental Car Agent

Summary

As a Rental Agent at Space City Toyota, you will play a vital role in managing rental operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Located in Humble, TX, this position is essential for facilitating vehicle rentals and enhancing the overall customer experience within our dealership.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with vehicle rental inquiries and provide detailed information about available options.
• Manage rental agreements and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
• Maintain organized records of rental transactions and customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone and in-person to address their needs.
• Negotiate rental terms with customers to ensure satisfaction while meeting company standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to promote additional services and products.

Schedule & Pay:

• Starting pay: $16.00/hour
• Rotating Schedule:
• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Week 2: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM with Saturday required, Sunday off, and one additional weekday off

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• 1+ year of car rental experience (required); TSD software experience is a major plus
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
• Team player who works well with all departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Must be dependable and able to handle a fast-paced environment
