Job Description - Rental Desk Coordinator

Description

At LGH, we provide rental of the lifting, rigging, pulling, and jacking equipment responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of everything from the bridges you drive on to the sports stadiums you visit. We pride ourselves on our ability to act as a true partner to our customers for every project, from start to finish, by leveraging our knowledge of safe rigging practices to ensure every project can be completed safely and on time.

We are seeking individuals that encompass our company values and have the ability to effectively manage multiple scenarios and prioritize workloads to meet the needs of our customers in a fast paced, high volume call center environment. As a Rental Desk Representative you will provide quality and timely support through coordination of the rental order process to ensure each customer experience exceeds expectations.

Job Duties:

  • Manage high-volume inbound email and phone queues to answer questions regarding order status, price, availability, tracking information, and order confirmation;
  • Generate rental/sale quotes from internal software system;
  • Follow-up on quotes and convert to rental/sales orders;
  • Partner with Outside Rental/Sales Representatives regarding quotes and orders in an effort to provide the highest level of service to our customers;
  • Investigate order issues and provide resolution in an expeditious and tactful manner; submit credit/adjustment memos for approval as needed;
  • Coordinate rental return process by scheduling equipment pick-up and updating internal software system as required;
  • Process adjustments to orders by crediting and re-invoicing items still on rent as equipment order is returned;
  • Collaborate with all departments to deliver on standard performance metrics to support departmental goals and requirements.

Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pmCST OR 9:00am - 5:30pmCST; Shift will be assigned by manager.

Work location: Bridgeview, IL Office Building

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience with inbound emails/calls in a fast-paced, high-volume environment strongly preferred
  • Prior inside sales (non-retail) experience helpful
