Easterseals Iowa is currently looking to fill the vacancy for our Rentals Coordinator! Come join us in a
unique role making a positive, productive impact! This position will oversee the management of facility rentals, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all our guests. This role encompasses leadership, operational management, financial oversight, and collaboration with various departments to maximize revenue and program effectiveness. The Coordinator will also contribute to the overall mission of Easterseals by upholding the organization's core values.
Principle Accountabilities:
On-Site Leadership: Function as the primary on-site leader for all facility rentals, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Program Management: Plan and operate the daily functions of rental programming, including but not limited to marketing, booking, and staffing rental groups.
Guest Services: Provide comprehensive oversight of the rental program, including meeting and welcoming renters, addressing inquiries, problem-solving during rentals, and completing the check-out process.
Revenue Growth: Identify and implement strategies to increase and grow rental revenue.
Budget Management: Prepare and make recommendations for the department’s annual budget, monitor monthly financial performance, and provide necessary recommendations to ensure budget adherence.
Procurement and Billing: Collaborate with the recreation team to order and purchase food, paper products, kitchen supplies, and equipment; bill renters; and maintain the identified budget.
Community Relations: Develop and maintain working relationships with area groups and volunteers to facilitate innovative programming.
Animal Care: Assist with the feeding and care of horses in the absence of the wrangler.
Lifeguard Supervision: Maintain appropriate lifeguard ratios and serve as a lifeguard when necessary.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with department directors and the support team, including maintenance, to ensure agency needs are met.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

This position will be offered full-time, Monday through Friday, during office hours, with weekends as needed.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a professional manner.
Lifeguard Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire.
Belay certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
Ability to solve problems and multitask effectively.
Availability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
Proficiency in operating a computer and navigating Easterseals databases.
Ability to collaborate cooperatively with supervisors and team members.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift.
Ability to transfer and move a minimum of 80 pounds.
Ability to obtain Medication Manager Certification through Easterseals Iowa.
Ability to possess and maintain current certifications for lifeguard, rock wall, zip line and CPO.
Possession of a valid Iowa Chauffeur’s Driver’s License and a good driving record.
Insurability under Easterseals vehicle insurance policy.
Access to reliable transportation for work-related travel.
