Eaton\u2019s Fluid \u0026 Electrical Distribution division is seeking an aftermarket Repair Station Accountable Manager in our Beltsville, MD location. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within the US. Minimal travel is expected.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $149000 - $219000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\nOur site of approximately 500 employees is a leader in the design, development, and production of Aerospace environmental control system components, systems, and services supporting global OEM and aftermarket customers.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nIn this role reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will lead and operate a certified FAA Part 145 Repair Station at our Beltsville, MD facility. The Repair Station Accountable Manager is responsible for all maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activity, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, CAAC, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, and Eaton Quality System standards. This leader will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, safety, training, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Beltsville Repair Station. \n \nOperational Leadership \n\u2022 Oversee day-to-day operations of the Part 145 Repair Station. \n\u2022 Manage and optimize production schedules, workflow, manpower, and material requirements to meet delivery and cost targets. \n\u2022 Ensure all repair station activities comply with 14 CFR Part 145, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. \n\u2022 Lead maintenance, inspection, and administrative personnel while fostering a high-performance, process-driven culture. \n\u2022 Maintain shop equipment, tooling, and facilities, and ensure appropriate technical data is available to technicians.\n\nRegulatory \u0026 Quality Compliance \n\u2022 Serve as the Accountable Manager per FAA Part 145 requirements. \n\u2022 Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA/CAAC/ITAR regulations and quality standards. \nMaintain capabilities lists, certifications, training records, and manuals. \n\u2022 Oversee internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections. \n\u2022 Ensure adherence to Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and all approved technical data.\n\nPeople Leadership \u0026 Development \n\u2022 Support supervisors in coaching and developing employees. \n\u2022 Manage technician training programs to meet FAA requirements. \n\u2022 Build organizational capability through talent development and succession planning.\n\n \nCustomer, Commercial \u0026 Technical Support \n\u2022 Maintain strong customer relationships through responsiveness, communication, and high-quality performance. \n\u2022 Support growth initiatives, recovery plans, and customer satisfaction goals. \n\u2022 Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Business Development to secure new qualifications, repairs, and product offerings. \n\u2022 Maintain working knowledge of repair manuals, parts lists, service bulletins, and related technical resources.\n\nContinuous Improvement \u0026 Performance Management \n\u2022 Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. \n\u2022 Monitor and report key operating metrics including: \no Safety (TRCR, DACR) \no Quality (DPPM, First Pass Yield) \no OTD \u0026 TAT \no Sales (volume \u0026 growth) \no Profitability, Productivity \u0026 Financial Budget \n\u2022 Drive a visually managed, process-oriented work environment.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Minimum 8 years of experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station or military aviation environment \n\u2022 Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountable Manager in a Part 145 environment \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role \n\u2022 This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. \u00a7 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8U.S.C. \u00a7 1158. \n \nPreferred qualifications: \n\u2022 Master\u2019s degree (MBA or Engineering) from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification \n\u2022 ASQ certifications such as CQE or CMQ/OE\n\nSkills: \n\u2022 Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145 \u0026 Part 21) \n\u2022 Technical aviation maintenance background (A\u0026P preferred but not required) \n\u2022 Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, and quality auditing \n\u2022 Proficiency with Six Sigma tools (A3, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC, MSA, DOE, etc.)\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
