Description: The Repair Tech is responsible for evaluating returned customer equipment, accurately identifying faulty components, and communicating repair estimates to the office team. The Repair Tech will carry out necessary repairs, ensuring all work meets quality standards. This role also involves maintaining clear records, collaborating with team members using computer systems, and supporting overall warehouse operations. 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic devices and components
Experience using hand tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, or technical manuals
Soldering and desoldering proficiency (through-hole and/or surface mount preferred)
Attention to detail and ability to follow standardized repair procedures
Basic computer skills for documenting repairs, updating systems, and communicating status
Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple repairs and prioritize workload
Strong communication skills for working with internal teams (CSR, operations, etc.)
Education:
1–3 years of experience in electronics repair, technical service, or a related field
Experience with consumer electronics, small equipment, or similar products preferred
Prior experience in a repair shop, manufacturing, or service environment is a plus
Relevant certifications (IPC or similar) are a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing detailed repair work
Capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 25–50 lbs (e.g., test equipment, packaged units, or returns)
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components, tools, and circuit boards
Ability to use fine motor skills for tasks such as soldering, wiring, and component replacement
Ability to safely use standard repair equipment (soldering irons, power tools, diagnostic devices)
Comfortable working in a warehouse or workshop environment with moderate noise levels
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $23–$26, depending on experience.
