Repair Technician

Kasco Marine is seeking a full-time Repair Technician at our home office in Prescott, WI.   

The Repair Technician position is a very hands-on role that requires sound troubleshooting skills and excellent time management. Repair Technicians will check-in, inspect, test, and repair a variety of products. Ideal candidates will enjoy finding and reporting root cause failures (both electrical and mechanical), take pride in quality workmanship, and communicate effectively with team members. The repair center is located at our manufacturing facility in Prescott, WI and services all models of Kasco products that are sent in from the field in need of maintenance and repair. 

Repair Technicians work as independent contributors in a team environment and are encouraged to play a part in our continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Repair technicians are highly valued team members who help make Kasco the industry leader in quality and service. 

General Accountabilities: 

1. Troubleshoot and repair all of Kasco’s product lines.

2. Cross train in multiple work cells to fulfill customer work orders when repair volume is low.

3. Communicate clearly with customer service and the customer facing repair team in the office on progress and details of customer repair orders.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma preferred 
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
• Small engine or electric motor repair experience preferred 
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

· Be able to follow written procedures

· Basic computer skills

· Proficient use of hand tools and handheld power tools

· Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day
