Position Summary:

The Electronic Technician, will perform electronic testing on complex products, sub-assemblies, and printed wiring boards according to written procedures by performing the following duties and responsibilities:. Troubleshoot/repair the product at the sub-assembly level.

Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.

• Troubleshooting problems with electronics and making necessary repairs
• Conducting service checks and performing routine maintenance to keep electronics functioning properly
• Communicating with operators, engineers and inspectors to understand problems and provide progress updates
• Conduct operations tests of electronic assemblies and subassemblies using, measurement instruments and automatic test equipment.
• Planning/Organizing: prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently.
• Quality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Ordering or producing parts needed to make repairs and complete maintenance
• Ethics: Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values; and follows company policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Associates in Electronic Technology or equivalent recommended.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Word and MS Access.
