Introduction:
•Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to analyze complex datasets from multiple mission applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide recommendations for enhancements. The primary place of performance is in McLean, VA, with anticipated local travel as needed.
•Use industry best practices for data analysis over complex data.
•Assess data sets and provide recommendations for enhancements.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineers.
•Collaborate with customers and customer leadership to implement tasking and provide deliverables compliant with project schedules, priorities, and standards.
•Collaborate with various customers and candidates, including technical consultation, meeting coordination and support, and preparation/support of technical briefings. 6. Provide input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation.
•Use Excel and Python to conduct complex data analytics.
•Understand database methodologies, such as strong SQL query or Elasticsearch experience.
•Analyze large and small data sets for trends and patterns.
•Produce informational or contextual products that explain findings for various audiences.
•Use data analytics skills to include detailed data analysis and metric generation.
•Possess strong briefing and writing skills.
•Support the technical processing of vetting requests for analytical comparison against the Customer's holdings.
•Translate user needs into appropriate methods and measures to provide data insights.
•Use data visualization and data validation routines.
•Convey technical information to non-technical individuals.

Role:
•Demonstrated experience using Excel and Python to conduct complex data analytics.
•Demonstrated experience understanding database methodologies (such as strong SQL query or Elasticsearch experience).
•Experience analyzing large and small data sets for trends and patterns.
•Demonstrated experience producing informational or contextual products that embody and explain findings for various audiences.
•Demonstrated experience with data analytics skills, including detailed data analysis and metric generation.
•Demonstrated experience with strong briefing and writing skills.

Nice to Have:
•Demonstrated experience supporting the technical processing of vetting requests for analytical comparison against the Customer's holdings.
•Demonstrated experience translating user needs into appropriate methods and measures to provide data insights.
•Demonstrated experience with data visualization and data validation routines.
•Demonstrated experience in conveying technical information to non-technical individuals.
