Role Description
We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to fill a pivotal role in our Houston, TX headquarters. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge in research and development, implementing cutting-edge procedures and techniques.
- Spearheaded new product and packaging designs, from formulation to nutritional compliance.
- Oversee all R&D projects, ensuring milestones and innovations are achieved.
- Improve production processes and packaging methods to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to tackle challenges and enhance product quality.
- Partner with Marketing to bring new products to market with a bang.
- Keep the team informed and engaged with new launches through effective communication.
- Conduct thorough technical assessments to bring new ideas to the table.
- Oversee the creation of panels with compliant and informative nutritional facts and allergen statements.
- Gauge consumer acceptance and address quality-related customer feedback diligently.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in Product Development/R&D within the food industry.
- Expertise in a specific food platform (e.g., Foods, Grains, Fruits & Vegetables, Dairy, Sports Nutrition, Beverages).
- Proven ability to interact with and influence senior leadership.
- Exceptional project management skills with a knack for leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
