Job Description - Research Associate

How You'll Help:

You will be part of an agile and growing team, playing a critical role in helping us to research and organize large sets of higher education administrative labor data. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our Client Success Team to process data submitted by our client universities into actionable, reliable labor spend benchmarks that will ultimately be used by our team to advise senior finance executives at our client universities on administrative efficiency and effectiveness.



What You Will Do:


  • Work remotely a minimum of 10-15 hours per week but no more than 30 hours per week

  • Search university websites and other resources to determine the function of university employees and job titles

  • Analyze university job descriptions

  • Assist Implementation Team with client request lists

  • Attend and support client meetings as needed

  • Support the Client Success Team in other special projects as needed

  • Ability to adapt quickly to various research methods and use of research technology

  • Energetic attitude and able to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and search engine navigation

  • Access to fast and reliable internet

  • Access to a computer

Location:

This specific role is remote, with an option to travel to the Chapel Hill, NC office.

Vision: Sufficient visual acuity to read documents, view computer screens, and engage in tasks that require attention to detail.

Fine Motor Skills: Proficient use of hands for typing, using a mouse, and managing office equipment such as printers and scanners.

Lifting: Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (e.g., office supplies or equipment).
