Research Associate II - Urgent Hiring

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the centralized cell banking and distribution team for Research and Early Development at ***. The focus will be to use a variety of culturing techniques to expand, bank, Quality Control, characterize and distribute advanced cellular models within Research. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in culturing a variety of cell lines and advanced cellular models, molecular, biochemical techniques and some automation experience. The candidate will be expected to frequently interact and communicate with other groups as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
BS/MS or PhD in life sciences
Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture 4 years or more
2 years or more of hands-on experience with optimizing, scaling up of cell lines, organoids and iPSCs
2 year automation experience
In depth knowledge of cell lines and advance model QCs – karyotyping, tri-lineage differentiation, pluripotency testing, mycoplasma, authentication
Adept with FACs, IF staining, RT-PCR, biochemical assays, DNA & RNA extraction
Familiar with LIMS and proficient with database maintenance
Clear oral communication and interpersonal skills are required
