The Opportunity:

West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Research Technician. The Research Technician will assist faculty in identifying aquatic macroinvertebrates as part of an existing research project. 

Essential Functions of the position:

• 
  Perform scientific experiments. Record and analyze data accurately. 


• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, spectrometers, and
  centrifuges.


• Maintain up-to-date laboratory notebook and prepare graphs, tables, slides, and
  summaries of data when requested.


• Complete all required university safety and training modules.


• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field required
  


• 1-2 years' experience preferred
