General Definition of Work
Performs intermediate and specified tasks in the management of reservoir operations, including sales, boating, concessions, and events. Supervises staff, ensures customer satisfaction, conducts facility inspections, manages inventory, and enforces safety compliance. Work is performed under the general supervision of Assistant Parks Superintendent, with continuous supervision of assigned seasonal staff.

Essential Functions
Manage daily reservoir operations, including bait sales, merchandise, food, and boating activities.
Supervise and schedule staff, ensuring proper training and excellent customer service.
Manage inventory and ensure that all supplies and equipment are stocked and in working order.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility and surrounding area for safety hazards, damages, or liabilities.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations, inventory, equipment, and safety.
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
Ensure safe reservoir operations, including water activities and boating, per safety regulations.
Manage food service equipment and concession stand operations, per health and safety standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of water safety regulations, reservoir operations, boat rentals, sales, and concessions; Familiarity with general equipment maintenance and basic repair techniques; Proficiency in computers and POS systems; Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist and interact with the general public in a courteous and professional manner; Ability to identify and address safety concerns or potential risks; Ability to generate reports, maintain accurate records, and track inventory; and ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and the public, including handling difficult interactions with some.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
This works requires the occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force work regularly requires standing, walking, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires reaching with hands and arms and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts and observing general surroundings and activities; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license in the State of Indiana.
