Resident Care Director

We are hiring a Resident Care Director at The Newbury of Brookline to manage and direct a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.

What will I do every day?

• Complete accurate and regular resident assessments to determine appropriate level of care
• Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
• Supervise and administer all resident medications
• Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
• Coordinate care provided by third parties
• Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
• Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing to ensure quality of care
• Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
• Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction  

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• A passion for excellence
• Three to five years of supervisory experience
• Registered Nurse required
• BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
• Experience as a Wellness Director, Resident Care Director or Assisted Living Director preferred
