Resident Clinic CNA

Description

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Resident Clinic CNA to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.

Hours are 1st shift (8 hours) including every other weekend.

• Covers Healthcare and Assisted Living, as needed.
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations, weight, height, and O2 Stats
• Provides receptionist duties including answering the phones, greeting residents, and notifying nurse of arrivals for visits.
• Assist with inventory in ordering medical supplies for the clinic.
• Responsible for working with Independent Living residents in both on-campus cottages and apartments.
• Documents in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Administers physician prescribed treatments as ordered.
• Assists the physician, podiatrist, dentist, pharmacy, and laboratory services as needed and schedules appointments.

Requirements

• Current CNA License as issued by the Commonwealth of VA
• Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred
