JOB TITLE: Resident Coordinator (PT) - Meadow at Melrose
REPORTS TO: Shelter Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Saturday-Sunday (7:00am-3:30pm)
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA, Meadow at Melrose, On-site
STATUS: Part-Time, 16 hrs/wk, Non-Exempt

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Resident Coordinator (PT) - Meadow at Melrose will work the Melrose Housing Program, a 24-hour, 60-bed program serving transitional age youth (TAY) experiencing housing instability. This role will be responsible for general oversight of the property, cleanliness, safety, crisis responses, and conflict management. The Resident Coordinator will conduct daily house and property inspections, maintain program supplies, support intakes and exits, coordinate meal support, and report and track health, safety, and maintenance concerns with appropriate SPY departments. They will build relationships with residents, enforce house rules, provide crisis response and conflict resolution, and communicate emerging issues while working closely with case managers.

Mandated Reporting Requirements: All SPY employees are mandated reporters and are legally required to report any reasonable suspicion of child, elder, or dependent adult abuse or neglect.

Driver Positions:
Applicants are required to provide a copy of their driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles, along with a copy of their valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Job offers are contingent upon a satisfactory driving record.
