Job Description - Resident Services Specialist

Description

What You Will Do:

  • Provides accurate and detailed administrative support to Property Supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operation of assigned property
  • Provides GCI worthy customer service with the goal of retaining customers for life
  • Seek to understand and identify the needs of the residents, answering questions and resolving issues as they arise
  • Answers phones, takes messages and directs callers as appropriate
  • Participates in rent collection process
  • Prepare and distribute notices for residents
  • Verifies utility account information for new and current residents
  • Packages move-out files and generates move-out condition reports
  • Coordinates move in, move outs with Maintenance Department
  • Performs other duties as directed or assigned

Requirements

What We Need:

  • Strong focus on customer service required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • A skilled problem solver and self-motivated
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two or more years administrative and/or customer service experience, preferably in property management
  • Experience with residential property management software preferred
