Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of our residents? Coeur D' Alene of Cascadia is seeking a dedicated Resident Support Services Assistant to support our Social Services Manager in all day-to-day functions of the Social Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Support: Assist the Social Services department with daily operations and tasks.
• Goal Setting: Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to set daily goals at admission and create plans to achieve them, including discharge planning.
• Service Coordination: Help residents and family members obtain necessary forms for services like Medicaid applications, insurance appeals, and discharge equipment.
• Reliability: Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Policy Adherence: Conduct job responsibilities in line with company policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team.

• Team Player: Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Rapport Building: Quickly build rapport with peers and customers.
• Confidentiality: Maintain resident/patient confidentiality.
• Knowledgeable: Familiarity with accepted standards of practice for long-term care social workers is a plus.

• All employees must pass state-specific background checks before interacting with patients/residents.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 

Licenses/Certification

• None required.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
