Residential Assistant Manager - Triplex

SUMMARY:

Our mission at Kainos is to support individuals with intellectual disabilities to be as independent as possible in their home and community. The Assistant Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager in one of our group homes to lead a dynamic team of staff who work cooperatively to provide a safe and stimulating environment for those we serve.  We take a person-centered approach to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. The Assistant Manager will be tasked with a variety of jobs including: setting up and ordering medications, helping with banking and budgeting, taking residents to medical appointments and doing hands-on living skills with residents.

Who We Are Looking for:

• Has a Bachelor Degree or over two years of experience working with adults with disabilities.


• Experience Supervising staff.


• Experience with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.


• Good oral and written communication skills.


• Be willing to work flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends.
